A Storytelling Entertainment Company

Aequaversitas Entertainment is a narrative company wherein we delve into the concepts of darkness and light, with a heavy emphasis on their relation to one another.

Name's Origin

Aequaversitas comes from the union of the Latin word for Equality, Aequalitatem and the Latin word for Diversity, Diversitas. Therefore, it grows in meaning from merely being the simple inclusion of the words "equality" and "diversity", to a new inclusionary meaning of "Equality Through Diversity".

This not only speaks of the genres and types of stories told within this world, but also the voices that will be telling said stories and their unique vision to the stories they tell.

Mediums and Genre

Aequaversitas Entertainment is starting in the written medium, chiefly novels, because that is what Ratash Na Rook knows.

As talent is brought into the company, the mediums will expand.

The plan for the company is to branch into EVERY medium of entertainment, from written mediums of picture books through epic novels, to the audiovisual mediums of movies, shows, and video games. We even plan to branch into the physical mediums of board games and LARPing. Every medium is planned to be used to tell stories.

The genres of these stories can be literally anything and any combination of that anything. Stories of vanilla romance to interstellar multidimensional tales will be told.

The world of Aequaversitas supports literally every genre to be told within it. The location and time are the defining characteristics.

Who Our Stories Are For

At Aequaversitas Entertainment, we believe in the power of storytelling to inspire and uplift, especially in the darkest of times.

Our stories vary in age range. As we grow and expand, we will have something for all ages, for all ages experience encroaching darkness.

As of this moment our released stories are Young Adult & Adult appropriate.

Our Beginning

Aequaversitas began when Ratash Na Rook found oneself desiring stories that others hadn't told, stories that didn't fit neatly into one particular genre.

Ratash Na Rook's vision started off as any standard aspiring author, but conversations with others over time lead Ratash Na Rook to realize that the breadth of story couldn't be told solely by oneself.

That is when AE was born, both as the company and the multifaceted cosmos that company revolves around.

Ratash Na Rook is leading the initial foundation for the company with others following and expanding everything in directions their individually unique voices can only tell.

Our Mission

Ratash Na Rook writes stories with a high emphasis on entering the darkness and sitting with the readers: to experience the pain with the reader; to let the reader know that one is not alone; to give a sense of community.

As the company expands and grows, the stories will range in atmosphere, depending upon that particular author, from the depths that Ratash Na Rook writes, to cozy stories that others will bring, and everything in between.

Regardless of who is telling the stories, they are meant to bring relatability, empathy, solace, and hope.
